Welcome to the Alton Senior High Class Of 1962 web site. We have a Class Reunion Committee that has been working very hard to plan the best class reunion yet!  Our 50 year class reunion is planned for September 29, 2012 at the Holiday Inn in Alton.  We have set aside motel rooms in the area.  Motel details were provided with your invitation.  If for some reason you did not receive your invitation, contact Linda Brunner Mauck @ lindabrunnermauck44@charter.net

September 27, Thursday Night An informal gathering at MAC’s Time Out Lounge at 315 Belle Street, Alton.  Arrive any time after 5PM. Mac’s has a great dinner menu.  Bottled beer is $1.50 a bottle on Thursday.

September 28, Friday Golf Scramble – Midday If you are interested in playing golf, please email Tom Muehleman a.s.a.p. @ Muehlemanpsychological@hotmail.com Tom is working on the details as to when, where, and the cost… and it will be fun!

September 28, Friday Night Tailgate Party  An informal gathering beginning at 6 pm at Johnson’s Corner, 2000 State Street in Alton (parking lot across the street).  There will be a cash bar. Food may be ordered from the menu. The dress is casual.  Alton High does not have an in town football game on September 28.

September 29, Saturday Tour of “Old” Alton High and the New Alton High School

At 9:30 am, we will meet in the pit at the “old” Alton High School (now the middle school) to tour our old high school

At 11 am, we will tour the new Alton High School at 4200 Humbert Street, Alton

September 29, Saturday Evening “A Gathering of Old and New Friends - The Class of 1962” at the Holiday Inn, 3800 Homer Adams Parkway, Alton

A fun filled evening of getting reacquainted and sharing memories with friends from long ago. 

At 5pm, Cocktails (cash bar) in the banquet room.

At 6pm, Dinner will be served buffet style in the banquet room. 

At 7pm, A very short program.

From 7:15pm until 11pm, Johnny Hernandez, our DJ, will play music from the 50’s and 60’s.  You are free to enjoy the rest of the evening socializing, talking about old times, catching up with your high school friends and having fun dancing and/or listening to the oldies but goodies.

Photo displays will be featured. The cost for Saturday evening is $50 per person and includes the buffet dinner and a Memory Book.  The dress is business casual.

Sunday September 30, Marquette Lodge Brunch

Apple Festival in Grafton, anyone wanting to meet at Marquette Lodge for brunch/lunch on Sunday, please indicate that you want to do this and we will coordinate reservations.

Tip:

To create your profile and edit it easily, create it first on your computer using your word processor. (I use MS Word). Save your profile on your computer so that if you want to change or modify it later, you can go back and do that without retyping everything.

Double space between paragraphs and do spell check before copying your profile. After you have written your profile and saved it on your computer.  Copy your profile document.  Then go to Class Creator and paste it in your “my profile” section. 

Be sure and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and select save to save your profile.
